What is the BEST cat to get if you have slight allergies?

I love animals and because of some stupid allergies, i am unable to be near a cat. I would love to have one for myself one day, and I have heard that there are a couple of cats that are not too bad with allergies.

the sphinxes (bald cats) are good for people who have allergies, cause your allergies are affected by the cats hair, and sphinxes don’t have any hair.

A calico cat. I’ve always been mildly allergic to cats as well, but calico cats are very good for those with allergies. I got one and have never been affected by it. Hope this helps.

well my mom is really allergic to cats but we had this cat (Oreo, so yea he’s black and white) since he was a kitten and he doesn’t bother her. Ive heard (from other members of my family who are allergic but has cats) that if you have them from kittens you become less allergic to YOUR cat.
