Cat Allergies Treatment

I rescue cats and within the last couple months, anytime I bring a new one home I wake up the next day with itchy/burning eyes, sneezing, etc.
After a couple days it goes away lol I just thought it was odd.

Anyone else experience this?

Whenever I tell my friends that my cat has allergies, they find it so bizarre. As if cats arent supposed to have allergies since humans have allergies from cats…

Anyway I love my cat so much and find her allergies charming and sweet
P.S. – my vet has said its normal and that my cat is perfectly healthy… so i’m not concerned about her, I just want to know if others think its weird or if I’m the only one that doesnt find it weird if cats have allergies…
