Cat Allergies Treatment

I rescue cats and within the last couple months, anytime I bring a new one home I wake up the next day with itchy/burning eyes, sneezing, etc.
After a couple days it goes away lol I just thought it was odd.

Anyone else experience this?

getting rid of the cat is not an option

i want to move into a place and the have a son who doesent live there but is allergic to cats and comes over often. my girlfriend has a 10 yr old cat who doesnt shed much doesent do much of anything but sleep. and i need to know is there anything i being the 3rd party do to eliminate the cat allergins in the house? ive seen the febreez antiallergin but i dont know how well it works does anyone?

I just gave my cat his first dose of this medicine, he’s been sneezing like crazy due to allergies. Has anyone had to give their cat this medicine before? Did it work for them, when did their allergies clear up?
It’s twice a day for 7 days, then once a day for 7 days, and then once every other day for two weeks. Thanks!

Getting rid of the cat is not an option

I was sure it was ringworm as my cat had giant bald circular bald patches near her face and on top her head. It seemed to spread and I never saw her scratching but it was red. The vet “thinks” it’s food allergies. After spending $90 I was told to switch back to the food she used to be on and seemed to have no problem with.

I have several flights booked on Southwest in the upcoming months, and now I hear they are going to permit animals on the aircraft. I was wondering how this affects other people like me.

I am a cat lover, but my boyfriend is allergic…i read that Siberians are less likely to cause allergies…does anyone with cat allergies own a Siberian and if so, how bad are your allergies with the cat?

I’ve been feeding my cats Special Kitty Urinary Tract dry food. The vet said one of my cats has allergies and that I should try changing his food. I’m looking for one that will be good for urinary tract infections and allergies both.

Hi there! I am DESPERATE for a Ragdoll kitten but I have allergies and heard that these cats are hypo-allergenic. Is this true? What are your experiences? My allergies are mild…I have itchy eyes and a scratchy throat, but it’s still unpleasant. Or should I just take medication?
