What are they allergic to? Are they on medicine or did you just change food?

My kitty seems to scratch and groom a lot and sneezes much more than his brother. I’m wondering if he’s got allergies.

My question is basically asking is there any types of cats that would do more damagge than dogs considered hypoallergenic

Over the counter would be ideal.

I have allergies to cats and dogs, not sure what it is about them, but I’m thinking it’s their hair. So long as I don’t rub my eyes, or scratch my arms, it’s fine, but like, I went to my friends’ house for a sleepover (she had a dog), and I rubbed my eyes before I realized it, and I had watery eyes till like, the next morning.
I’m more allergic to dogs than cats, I believe, but maybe it’s because dogs run around everywhere so their hairs would naturally be all over the place too.

But I also think I don’t have cat allergies, cause my other friend has a cat, and there are times when I’m fine around her, and other times when I have irritations in my eyes and stuff.

Are there any cats that don’t provoke allergic reactions? I heard Siberian cats don’t… But there are people who say it’s completely false though.
And I’d also appreciate it if you could suggest a pet for me. I want something I can talk to and cuddle. I moved away from my family and friends last year and I’ve been having a really hard time, and I’m always comforted when I hug something =D. But these days my dolls aren’t really doing it for me.

The question pretty much says it all. I am wanting a cat but my roommate has allergies. Would keeping the cat in my room, and out of both the living room and his room, keep him from having an allergic reaction?

I own two 8 year old cats and 2 years ago I had obtained a slight cat allergy to them. I have recently rescued a new kitten (he is currently 2 and 1/2 months old) and have not had any sort of allergic reaction to him. I know that allergies (especially pet ones) can come on at any time of your life, but since I already have allergies to cats, I was just wondering if the allergies will come as he gets older or if I am just not allergic to him at all.

Thanks!

I want something friendly and cute. Something you can interact with? Not fish.
