What should I do? I told him I’m willing to bathe the cat, buy allerpet, vacumn like crazy and keep the cat out of the whole upstairs of the house. We had a cat for 3 years who died (she was very old and I had her since I was a teenager but he only lived with her for 3 years with me) and his allergies were not so bad. He had bad days but we dont’ know if that was because of the cat or because of his other allergies.

I have red spots covered in small bumps on my forehead, and on my left cheek due to having allergic reactions to my family’s cats. Are these rashes permanent? Will they go away if I isolate myself from cat fur, and don’t get much exposure to it anymore?
Some other symptoms I have are itchy ears, watery eyes, coughing/sneezing, and runny nose.

I was sure it was ringworm as my cat had giant bald circular bald patches near her face and on top her head. It seemed to spread and I never saw her scratching but it was red. The vet “thinks” it’s food allergies. After spending $90 I was told to switch back to the food she used to be on and seemed to have no problem with.

I have several flights booked on Southwest in the upcoming months, and now I hear they are going to permit animals on the aircraft. I was wondering how this affects other people like me.

I’ve just moved into a new apartment, only to learn the previous tenant owned a cat. Unfortunately, I have allergic reactions to cats. I’ve tried cleaning the carpets, candles, sprays, allergy medicine.. the works.. other than moving, what can I do to relieve my symptoms better?

My cat has been sneezing all day, poor guy. Is it possible that he’s got allergies? And yes– I have taken him to the vet about this (probably a year ago) but the vet didn’t think there was anything wrong with him. My cat stopped with the sneezing fits shortly after seeing the vet, but now he’s doing it again. Any ideas what it might be?
Thanks for the help. He’s strictly and indoor cat, and he’s been sickly his entire life, so I watch him like a hawk. Cowgirl– I didn’t even think about the dust from all my packing! I do have an indoor air purifier– I’ll turn it on ‘high’ to see if that helps him!

My cat recently began losing all his fur and was diagnosed with food allergies after eating the same food his entire life (7 years) Now I need to find a quality food that is also economical…..

My cat has pretty bad allergies, and he has sneezing fits where mucus and blood are sprayed everywhere. He’s seen the vet and everything (we’re waiting for the medication to take effect), just as an FYI. How do I clean cat snot and blood off my walls?

My roommate has two cats that make my allergies go haywire when they are roaming the apartment. When she puts them in her room, I am fine. However, lately we have only been letting one of the cats out. No allergies! Could I somehow be allergic to only the one cat?
The other cat has long hair and sheds more, while the one we let out doesn’t. He is also a male, while the long-hair cat is female. I have no idea if these things matter, but those are the major differences.
